Since that time it has been translated into 16 languages and over 1 million copies have been distributed worldwide. In that edition SKF introduced the “New Life Theory”, which sincehas become a major new technical standard for the bearing industry. With this broad usage and professional acceptance, the SKF General Catalogue reference source of its type throughout industry.
